My mother always told me that I was good at arguing and seeing both sides of any situation. From there, practicing law just seemed to make sense.
Long before my legal aspirations, I was just a boy growing up in Taylor County. I grew up attending rivalry games where the local Cards and Eagles battled on the football field and basketball court; I met friends at Miller Park and Bell's Bakery. Central Kentucky was home, and the people here were family.
So, after graduating from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2014 and being admitted to the bar the same year, I began to look for an opportunity to come back to Campbellsville. My wife, Kelley, and I wanted to start a family in a place that felt like home, and Central Kentucky seemed like best place to land.
After working at another firm for a few years, I started Bright Law in Downtown Campbellsville in 2018. Since then, I've helped clients throughout the region with cases involving personal injury, family law, estate planning, probate, real estate and business administration. It has been a joy to build this practice and serve those who have walked through its doors.
As an attorney and business owner, my mission really is simple: to be the best lawyer I can possibly be; for my clients, for my community, for my staff and my family. I have a strong competitive streak (as my children can attest), which drives me toward continuous improvement, providing the highest level of legal guidance possible, and, ultimately, achieving my clients' desired objectives.
Today, Kelley and I have two daughters, Saylor and Sadie, and one son, Silas. Together, we enjoy participating in our church, traveling and spending time with friends. I'm working hard on instilling in each of them a deep love for UK athletics (Go Cats!).
If you ever find yourself in need of an attorney--one who will treat you more like a friend than a case number--I hope you'll reach out. I'll look forward to meeting you, and to walking through whatever you're facing alongside you.
